Welcome to Rolling Hills RC&D

Mission
Providing leadership in protecting and improving the economic, social and natural resources of residents in the RC&D Area.

Vision
We have a vision of a region that is greener and cleaner than ever before, where individuals value the natural resources and strive to protect them and where urban and rural communities can co-exist in harmony.

Rolling Hills Resource Conservation and Development Council (RC&D) is a non-profit (501c3) organization serving the nine county region of Bartow, Carroll, Coweta, Douglas, Floyd, Haralson, Heard, Paulding and Polk.  Working with a variety of partners, and with assistance from the US Department of Agriculture, Rolling Hills RC&D strives to improve the quality of life in our region by protecting and improving our natural resources while improving the local economy.  The Council offers a unique vehicle to plan, develop strategies, secure funding, and implement projects to improve the quality of life for local citizens.

Since our establishment in 1998, we have completed over one hundred projects to serve local agriculture, protect greenspace and farmland, build and enhance local natural resource based businesses, improve local parks and streetscapes, and protect water quality.  We work closely with private citizens, local businesses, schools, other non-profits, state and federal agencies, and city and county governments.  For more information on our programs, please contact our office.
